The Pointer is Aristocratic, graceful and powerful. The Pointer information starts off with its athletic and well-muscled body. It has an alert expression and carries its head proudly. They have a long neck and the tail is tapered and straight but is never docked. The ears are medium-sized and somewhat pointed. The nose is set high than rest of the snout. The eyes are Chestnut or Hazel depending on the Coat color. The feet are Oval. The coat can even be tri-colored.

The Pointer is an energetic animal and they have a can-do attitude. It is very loyal and dependable that marks its true traits. It is an affectionate & loving animal and can get along with the whole family. It is also intelligent and has the ability to grasp complicated commands. They are calm at home yet an enthusiastic Hunter. They have rock-solid protective instinct that makes them more dependable. They are people-oriented dogs and should not be left alone for long. They grow to a height of 21-24 inches and weigh around 44-66 pounds. They are not suited for apartments since they need room to run and walk around. They make excellent running and jogging partners and would love to swim and retrieve. Their life expectancy is around 13- 14 years.
