Pointer puppies are related to Spanish pointers. They look athletic and well built. They are tireless well muscled breed. They are medium sized dog. The average weight of a male breed is 60 lbs at 27 inches high.  The average weight of a female is 50 lbs at 24 inches height. It has a very short coat. The coat is not dense but is silky, shiny, and is soft in texture. Its color can be lemon, brown, black or any color along with white color. They can be of spotted color also. Their head is long. Their eyes are brown in color and oval in shape. They are medium sized. They must be bright and clear. Their sclera must not be yellow in color. Both the eyes are well spaced out. They also have distinct eyebrows which are thick. They have a long dark brown nose that protrudes out of the face. They have muzzles that are very long. Their tooth is of scissor bite type. Its neck is of medium size and slightly in arch shape when viewed from side. Their forelimbs are straight when looked from front. Their hind limbs are straight and are parallel. They are either bent inwards or outwards. Their feet are webbed. Their tail is high and is medium in size. They have thicker pads that make them feel comfortable both in water and land.
